ATTORNEY PROFILE

 

Matt Miller is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and attended college at David Lipscomb University graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Biology. Mr. Miller attended law school at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, earning a J.D. in 1998. During law school, Matt was selected to the University of Memphis law review and the Moot Court Board. Matt also received the Glencoe McGraw-Hill Award for the most outstanding graduate paper in the nation, and he was inducted into the American Inns of Court. 

Mr. Miller is a partner in the Firm serving the Firm's insurance defense section, commercial section, and domestic litigation section.  Matt is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Kentucky. His practice entails litigation throughout the state trial and appellate courts, the Supreme Court, and Federal Courts of the Sixth Circuit.




Matt is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee and Kentucky Bar Associations, and the Montgomery County Bar Association.  Matt is published as a legal author having authored:  "Balancing the Budget on the Backs of America's Elderly: Section 4957," 29 Univ. Mem. L. Rev. 165; and "Asset Planning - "Granny Goes to Jail," Criminal Just. Policy Rev.,  Vol. 14 Issue 1, March, 2003.
